Greetings on the feast of the queenship of Mary! Which the pope proclaimed as a day of fast for peace in the ukraine and Gaza. So no feasting today. But most of you probably didn't get the memo because the news doesn't report it, so for the majority of the faithful, spontaneous days of penance only count if there's a sunday in between to relay the message. I had a friend tell me recently he's stopped following the news. That's wonderful. It's a good thing to disconnect from the propaganda machine, unless you, like me, can appreciate good propaganda when you see it. Like the old chinese proverb says... "drink tea go to work for the day, drink kool-aid have the day work for you".

"Watch the news to find out who to pray for". I suppose that's a valid reason if you actually do pray for them. But does the devil's tabernacle, as St Teresa of Calcutta calls the tv, actually inspire your prayer or rather is it a source of gossipy entertainment. The morbid fascination of seeing the tragedy. How many times is God's name taken in vain... you turn your head (if you have even that little decency) from the half naked bodies of modern prostitutes you call actresses and models. And you put up with all this in front of your children because you need to "know". You need to "stay informed". But for what gain! ... for what loss.

There is great suffering in gaza and ukraine. I do not want to belittle it. Russia reports 1.7 million ukrainian soldiers killed or missing. A similar number of Russians have suffered the same. And no end in sight. Now the math makes capitulation inevitable, but don't underestimate how bad it can get. Because God has spared you so far... you sin against his mercy with your presumption. In gaza city, a million people are in famine, >60000 killed 83% are civilians. And how do you blame someone for taking up arms against an enemy literally starving his people to death. Trump said in reference to ukraine, "If I can save 7000 people a week from being killed... I want to try to go to heaven if possible." Indeed if he manages peace, it will be to his credit. But he will answer for fomenting the crisis in Gaza, for his administration forcing mifepristone's legality resulting in 700,000 abortions annually and promoting ivf which kills ~1 million babies annually. Indeed it's within his power to save up to ~40000 people a week. Well, they'd jfk him before he actually succeeded, but he hasn't tried and he doesn't care.

Infanticide is the biggest sin of America and unless it is prioritized, you are only pretending to care about the other people the news deems worthy to pity.

It's been brought to my attention that there is a significant number of catholics that justify abortion for ectopic pregnancies. That's not okay, and I'll explain why. Ectopic means the baby is concieved out of place, usually in the fallopian tubes but also in the abdomen and ovary. The google ai says the pregnancies always result in the death of the child (which isn't even true) and oftentimes the mother. You might be familiar with the case of St. Gianna Molla who died from c-section complications after refusing to abort her child when the doctors discovered cancer in her uterus. For her heroic sacrifice she was canonized. The pro-abortion argument is "You're (possibly) going to die, the baby (probably) won't live. You're not killing your baby, you're saving yourself." It's based on lies, but even if it weren't the fact of the matter is you are killing your baby. The principle of double effect says you can do a good thing that has bad side effects when the side effects don't outway the benefit of the good. You can't kill people because it would convenience you. You can't do a wrong to make a right. Nowhere in the 10 commandments are there exceptions. Do you also kill and eat the weakest sailor on the boat so the rest of you don't starve? No.. no you don't. But the medical community hasn't normalized cannabilism yet. I hear the catholics are trying. If a cartel member says kill yourself or I kill your family, do you commit suicide. Hell, no because that is where you will go. If he says kill your kid and you can live or I'll kill you both, does that change anything? Will you look your child in the eyes and pull the trigger? But because you can't see his little eyes you will? Will you, as the family in the book of Maccabees was told, blaspheme and live. They died martyrs. For a more recent example see the coptics on the shore of the mediterrainean. They were canonized in spite of their schism for their courage. Or do you think killing babies is less of a sin than lying. "well they were going to die anyway" My friend, we are all going to die anyway. Your child has been in this world for mere days and even if he will die anyway, a few more days is a quarter of his life. Will his own mother send him to sheol? Insanity. But then what are we supposed to do? Trust in God. You trust in witch doctors. Try trusting in God. Abraham had faith that God would raise Isaac from the dead. Statistically impossible.

An amniotomy was performed and a normal neonatal female was extracted as breech.

The baby can survive. It has happened before however rare. And yet, at one point, it had never happened, but it was still possible. All things are possible for God. And the worst possiblity is you die a saint. Actually, the worst possiblity is you live to be damned.

And if you want to know the most likely scenario, you miscarry without complications to yourself. But it's painful to even say you miscarry as if it's a good thing. But it's better than murder. Over 80% "achieve spontaneous resolution" as the doctors classify babies dying in the womb. And the other 20% the doctors got knife happy with so we won't know.

You know, if you think of it, every pregnancy carries the risk that you both die. And what they don't tell you, their treatment kills people too. And not to make you think that every evil you suffer is for your own sin, but ectopic pregnancy rates go way up with hormone therapy i.e. contraceptions and fertility treatments, so maybe don't try to coerce God into giving or not giving you kids. "The Lord giveth and white women taketh away... er doctors."

As a reminder, without civilization we'd almost all be dead, and don't envy the rich because you are poor for your own good.
