When you read history it is always a history of princes and what wars they fought, because there are few things that are as grave a matter of life and death as war. Not just survival of the body but also of the soul because many-a-man has been pressed into service at spear point to fight an unknown enemy for an unknown cause. "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. These things must happen". And a Christian must decide to what extent he will take part. A good man can easily be duped by the propoganda machine at the time (just ask Jean Vianney) and this is the reason I so heavily talk about politics. Because for now we can say "God bless the tsar and keep him.... far away." But if the time comes that Caesar is knocking you will have to make a decision.

It is not as simple as who is the aggressor because there are just reasons to aggress. And there are things not worth defending. It must be discerned through prayer because nobody has all the facts. And if the Church withholds judgment as has been the norm in modern times, we still must make a choice. Inaction is a choice. And if like the Cristeros the Church demands you lay down arms so the state can execute you, what are we to say? God will reward you even if His Church on earth would rather "one man die than the people". That is our surety, the mercy and the justice of God. "All sins will be forgiven the sons of men except blasphemy of the holy Spirit" "Surely you will not lose your reward" The world will celebrate the William Drurys and will sing songs about the muffin man, and great bishops will die at their hands. But eternity will celebrate differently

If you remember Trump boasting he could end the war in Ukraine in 1 day, which incidently was ongoing throughout his entire 1st term, it is now day 174 and he is still giving military assistance so ukraine can continue racking up the body count. Essentially taking the same strategy that Joe Biden's administration did.

The United States of Israel initiated an unprovoked attack on Iran during the middle of negotiations - an act of war by any american standards. You have to wonder if the negotiations themselves were all part of a ploy to lure high ranking officials into the open for the assassination strikes that were made. Iran was never a threat to american soil, we have no legitimate interest in the region and the conflict is proof the USA is controlled to some extent by the state of Israel. It was a strategic failure for the americans for many reasons. It united the people of Iran in favor of the current government which in their minds repelled all Israel could throw at them inflicting non-negligible damage on israel proper (tel aviv, haifa etc.) and even a US airbase in qatar proving the effectiveness of Iranian drones and ballistic missiles and the limitations of state of the art missile defense. The credibility of closing the strait of hormuz is very high, ships have been broadcasting unusual messages such as "China owned" and "vsl no link Israel" because they know the turbulent times they are in. Russia and Pakistan both reached out to Iran against American aggression. Iran's ability to obtain a nuclear weapon wasn't severely damaged and the capabilities of American bunker busters is known. The cost of the war was so unsustainably high the americans announced a ceasefire in 12 days after spending equivalent to the yearly military budget for Israel. On top of that it hurts republican popularity domestically among other things that prove the government is not looking after the interests of common americans.

It also showed the timidness of hezbollah or rather Iran because hezbollah sat on the sidelines in retaliation for iran doing the same to them. There is little unity among the muslims in the middle east so expect violent extremism to come back into fashion. Israel continues to kill random gazans who want food because Israel won't let them have any. Because terrorists. That's really starting to get old. "We have to take away rights and oppress you to fight terrorism." You wanna know something ironic? Hamas killed fewer "civilians" percentage-wise on the day of the infamous terrorist attack than Israel has averaged over the entire course of the war. So if it's fair for Israel to kill so many civilians in retribution then there was no justification for the retribution to begin with because by their own actions it was fair play. Or double standards because goyim. Remember 80% of deaths in Gaza are women and children. You want to know how America stood by and let the Rwandan genocide happen... this is how.

They say America has never lost a war. But that is propoganda. America has never won a war. Even the revolutionary war required the French to come to the rescue. The civil war, wwi, wwii, korea, vietnam, afghanistan. Even the Spanish American war, sure we hurt Spain, but look at the territories we took, nobody lives on them, half are government property, the people under former spanish rule are fleeing their countries we fucked to come live here so we can deport them back. We didn't win anything. We didn't win when we replaced the Taliban with the Taliban. Vietnam, Southeast Asia isn't more western and Christian but more Chinese. The same for half of Korea. But you can say that nobody bombs North Korea now that they have nukes. Funny how that works. Nobody bombs Pakistan either.

Now that they released doctored video footage of the wrong side of the prison that Jeffery Epstein was in, now we can sweep the whole ordeal under the rug. There was no client list afterall. Ghislaine can rot in jail for pimping out underaged girls to nobody at all. It's a little strange that both guards fell asleep and the camera malfunctioned and people were saying he would have dirt on high profile clients, and somehow he had means.... Strange that Ghislaine was recruiting people from mar-a-lago. Strange her father was a mossad agent. Anyhoo, back to your scheduled programming. Oh, by the way, Trump also said people won't stop talking about MLKJ or JFK. You won't hear the truth about that ever either.

As the great Pam Bondi once said "Violence against an IVF Center is unforgivable". That's not very Christian of you Pam. But then again is lutheranism Christian? Protestantism is much more a philosophy than a religion because it doesn't require you to do anything. Some will take offense to that statement but show me the laws of protestantism. From it's start it was anti-catholic not pro-anything. Calvin and Zwingli and Luther are only united in not Catholic. "do what thou wilt" but don't be catholic. Listen to Jacob Amman, listen to John Wesley, Billy Graham, gain the wisdom they have for believing so long, but listen to a guy in a pointy hat in rome and you are a satanist. That guy has a valid claim to authority but no listen to the guys that made themselves pope. Selective Scriptura.

I saw a clearly protestant comparison between Christianity and Islam recently. It said muslims create violence and christians create peace, (no real objections) but I'd rather live with muslims than say, englishmen during the latter half of the 16th century. It said muslims tell you to die for islam and christians, Jesus died for us. My friend, "he who wishes to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it" Christians must die for Christianity. It is no different. And it said Jesus said "let the little children come to me" and muslims don't love children because suicide bombers or something. The "christians" I know would rather kill a hundred kids with iuds than have to raise them. Muslims don't kill that many with ieds. And look at the "christian" divorce rate before you blame a muslim for how they treat women. Also, since when was being a single mom something you're proud to tell people. That is a badge of shame. Unless the father is dead. Another question for you protestants out there, "how come abortion is okay if rape or incest?" Like, killing someone because their parents did something bad is okay how? Especially with the working definition of rape in the states.

In other news Russian oligarchs still fall out of buildings. We're glad to see that feature wasn't removed with the last update to the simulation. I remember Yevgeny.

Did you guys see the big beautiful bill pass? The one redeeming quality was the removal of the n.f.a. but then they scrapped that in the final version of the bill, oh well. But I can see why Elon's upset. Probably not about the debt who cares if you can wrap the globe a couple times in hundred dollar bills and still not pay it off. But they were going to stop incentivizing "renewable" energy and give tax cuts to "fossil fuels", and that was going to hurt his business model of making more money from government subsidies and selling tax credits than from making a desirable product. But he's right about the uniparty. He is right about that.

For those of you thinking a 3rd party will divide the vote and the democrats win, you missed what I said about uniparties. Kamala would've been worse, you say. Man, Kamala was president for 4 years and your life was the same. It was Trump who did the Covid stuff remember?

I heard the Pope say some stuff the other day about protecting the environment, and I'm going to say as a common man, the protect the environment argument has been used by my enemies for so long as a stepping stone to justify population control by people who love animals more than people and they pull up exponential growth charts and say the world is going to hit carrying capacity or some nonsensical co2 things and we need the communists to stop those dirty capitalists from making a buck feeding the world. That's all I can associate it with. And I think we should be less wasteful as a society. Like, lets drink all the ethanol going into our cars instead of burning it as a net negative energy activity. Or maybe cut down on plastics and work to more sustainable P and K fertility management or nuclear power instead of blowing up other countries peaceful nuclear centrifuges. But buying a couple lithium cars from slave labor in africa so we can burn more fossil fuels farther away, I mean, that just doesn't resonate with me. And maybe culling some of the dogs people own because we don't need so many "useless eaters". Dogs are bad for people anyway the way people treat them like people. "Kill your dog, save the environment. It's not a carnivore's world" And we could grow more gardens and use less pesticides and fix the housing crisis causing people to live in dense cities and stop mowing lawns. And stop flushing birth control into the water supply. But I didn't get that was what the pope was referring to.

Hey for all you people thinking pope Francis scandalized you, have you ever heard of pope Leo VIII who was first an antipope and then became the legitimate pope when the real pope died and the cardinals didn't contest him. As much as it serves the church to ensure that the laity aren't beholden to the latin mass more than to obedience to legitimate authority, I suspect there are more people beholden to the novus ordo (as the kids are calling it), and it would serve the church just as well to ban novus ordo masses for a time

By the way canon law seems to say deacons are bound to abstain from sexual relations with their wives. Wonder how that slipped past everyone
